The only problem I found while trying to implement Nutrisystem into our Legoland trip was that our hotel room lacked a microwave! I’m sure I could have asked them to heat up a few of my meals, but I opted to eat a snack bar or one that needed hot water (thank goodness for complementary coffee machines in the rooms!).
Nutrisystem and camping go hand-in-hand! I was able to mimic many of the meals my mom had prepared for us. For example I had a chicken salad sandwich and they had chicken and/or steak sandwiches. I did skip a few of my Nutrisystem desserts for Sangria and Strawberry Fluff Cake.

So how did I do? I only gained 0.8 lbs! Not too shabby! I did walk a lot at Legoland and took a few hikes up the hill while camping, but I didn’t deny myself some of the vacation treats I like to have! What I did right is I ate my Nutrisystem meals instead of gorging on all the snacks & meals that the rest of my family ate. I was able to indulge in a few favorites, add some of the sides that the rest of the family had to round off my meals, and have fun!

My Goal for this week is to get back to my regular exercise routine (which might be difficult due to the weather…it is going to be HOT this week) and get below 160 lbs.
