One article that caught my attention is “How to Stop Emotional Eating… For Good.” I know I am a stress eater. Food has always been my comfort. “Some experts even conclude that emotional eating accounts for 75 percent of all overeating.” It doesn’t surprise me that emotions are a trigger for many people. So how do you stop emotional eating? You will have to read the article to get all the details… but here are a few key points: be positive, be aware of what triggers you, remove anything that might tempt you, and find an activity that will calm yourself.
One of the activities that I love to do to calm myself is going for a walk. I live in the mountains… so with Spring just around the corner, I will be take more walks to relax.
