When you are on vacation during the holiday season, you can still save some money! Thanks to Restaurant(dot)com my husband and I had the opportunity to test out a new local restaurant.
This Christmas we are spending quality time with my family in Southern California. During our trip, I wanted to buy lunch for my family. My husband and I searched the Restaurant(dot)com mobile app to see what was near by. La Mirada is only about 10 minutes away from my parents’ house, so when we came across the deal for Philly Fusion we couldn’t wait to test it out!
Philly Fusion offers a $5 off $10 gift certificate.
“Cheesesteak with a twist!”
Philly Fusion has brought flavors from all over the world to the infamous Philly Steak sandwich. Of course we have traditional fare but we also offer so much more. We infuse housemade sauces into Rib Eye steak, chicken or tofu. We then cradle it in an authentic Amoroso roll or wrap it in Romero Royal Crown tortilla, your choice. We will even stuff it into a lightly grilled and steamed, crispy red or green pepper if you want it low carb and refreshing.
Philly Fusion is located on the corner of Rosecrans Ave. and Valley View Ave. They are open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am until 7:00 pm and on Sundays from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Their menu is fairly extensive with a wonderful selection of sandwiches, burgers, dogs, nachos, burritos and meal deals.
They had so many good choices, that I had a hard time deciding what to get. We decided to order the following:
The Fusion Classic: Grilled onions, green peppers, mushrooms, and cheese
The meat is chopped so finely that it melts in your mouth. The flavor was delicious with the grilled onions, green peppers, and mushrooms. The bread was fresh! My mother ate half of the sandwich and my husband ate the other half. I forgot my dad doesn’t like mushrooms…luckily my husband does!
The Western Ringer: Grilled onions, crispy onion rings, barbecue sauce, and cheese
My husband shared this sandwich with my dad. I think the boys liked the crunchy onion rings the best! Again, the chicken was chopped extra fine which made eating it so easy. The barbecue sauce was delicious (they make all of their sauces!).
Ringerito Burrito: Rib eye steak, grilled onions, crispy onion rings, BBQ sauce, and cheese
I’m not going to lie. I will always choose a burrito over a burger or sandwich. I loved that Philly Fusion offered burritos…and not just any burritos…Philly burritos! Oh my! Absolutely delicious!
Slider Lunch: 2 hamburger sliders, fries, and a small fountain drink
Perfect appetizer…or in our case a perfect lunch for two little munchkins! Logan and Kira enjoyed the small hamburgers. Just the right size for my little ones!
The sandwiches are large enough to share if you have something like potato salad or coleslaw to have as a side. My husband and I both ate our entire sandwich/burrito! It was almost too good to share, but we did!
I can’t wait to try Philly Fusion again! Next time we will take the entire family and dine in their cute little eating area.
