I was one of the lucky mommy bloggers selected to be a host of MommyParties sponsored by Nutella® hazelnut spread. Mom’s love to party and share with other moms…so MommyParties created a mom engagement program to help spread the word through the mouths of moms everywhere.
This was going to be my first time trying Nutella. I have heard only wonderful things about this chocolate tasting hazelnut spread. When I told my mommy friends, they all jumped at the chance to come party with me.
As a hostess, I received a Nutella hazelnut spread party kit which included:
- (1) 26.5 oz Jar of Nutella hazelnut spread
- (10) Nutella spread sample packs & $1 off coupons
- (10) Nutella gift bags
- (10) Nutella tumbler mugs
- (10) Nutella spreaders
- (10) Nutella tip cards
- recipe ideas
- party activies
Carolyn, one of my good mommy friends, was kind enough to buy each guest a 13 oz jar of Nutella spread as an extra bonus to the goody bags. Her daughter, Mia, is a Nutella fanatic…and helped me prepare for the party.
Did you know that there are more than 50 hazelnuts in one 13 oz jar of Nutella spread! Nutella hazelnut spread does not contain peanuts or peanut ingredients. It doesn’t contain hydrogenated oil or trans fat and is very low in sodium. No artificial colors or perservatives. Nutella is gluten free & a Kosher product. The key to enjoying Nutella hazelnut spread is the appropriate serving amount…just 1-2 tablespoons. So, don’t go overboard! When used in moderation with complementary foods, Nutella spread can be a part of a balanced breakfast for a good start to anyone’s day.
We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day…but how many of us actually eat a healthy, balanced breakfast? Well…check out how we made breakfast fun & nutritious.
Nutella can be spread on just about ANYTHING! My guests brought a bunch of yummy foods to create an amazing Breakfast Bar! We had OJ, waffles, crepes, mini bagels, graham crackers, apples, strawberries, and bananas.
My guests had a blast filling their plates will yummy breakfast items…topped with Nutella! Some of my guests ignored the “use in moderation” comment…so we ate the entire jar of Nutella!
This was Logan’s first taste of Nutella…let’s just say he is NUTS about Nutella! Because Carolyn brought extra jars of Nutella for everyone, I let Logan have a piece of whole wheat toast with a little Nutella on it for breakfast the next day. He thought that was a GREAT breakfast treat.
Thank you MommyParties!
