Now that Logan is in Kindergarten and Kira goes to preschool two days a week, I am a Mom-On-The-Go! I don’t always have time in the morning or at lunchtime to make/heat up my meals (especially on Tuesdays & Thursdays). So this week I turned to Nutrisystem‘s amazing breakfast & lunch bars to get me through the day… plus the desserts (yummy zesty herb mix, pretzels, cheese puffs and cookies). I love that I can put a bar in my purse and eat it on-the-go. Nutrisystem allows me to be eat healthy while running my errands and taking the kids to school.
Another good meal for when you need to head out the door are the melts. On Thursday I had to go to the doctor’s office… so I heated up a chicken fajita melt and wrapped a paper towel around it, jumped into my car and drove to my appointment. It was a perfect on-the-go meal.
Tip of the Week: Keep a breakfast or lunch bar in your purse at all times (Men, you can keep one at your desk or in the car) so you are ready for anything!
