It’s amazing how the fit of your clothes can change with as little as a five pound weight loss. Not only are you losing fat, but you are losing inches! I didn’t take measurements at the beginning of my weight loss journey, but I can tell that my body is shrinking. Proof is in the photo! Please excuse the belly shot…however, you have to see this photo of my pj bottoms!
Just a few months ago I refused to wear these pjs to bed because I couldn’t sit down in them without feeling like they were cutting into my tummy. Now there is a little give in the waistline! I am starting to feel more comfortable in my clothes because they aren’t TIGHT!

Week #7: 178 lbs (2/29/16) — Happy Leap Year! Oh it feels good to have lost weight this week. I am down 1.4 lbs! I still have a long way to go to reach my goal weight of 135 lbs, but I’m thrilled to see the scale go down! I did get out of the house this weekend. It was great not wasting time sitting on the couch. I worked most of the weekend cleaning my classroom.
This week I think I am going to flip my lunch and dinner a few times. I am wondering if my body is getting to used to the routine.
Nutrisystem weekly inspiration: “Get outside. Do whatever it takes and whatever you feel up to, but leave the four walls behind and get outside. Go for a walk. Ride a bike. Play with the kids. Go to the park. Watch the locals play soccer. Work in the garden. Or simply drag a chair outside.”
