It’s time to bust out the glue, scissors and creativity!
Thanks to Lakeshore I can stay organized and get crafty! As a first grade teacher, I am always doing arts and crafts in my classroom. I love the Arts & Crafts Supply Center! (Please note that this center is not intended for a large classroom, but great for smaller group activities.)
The Arts & Crafts Supply Center is stocked with tons of creative craft supplies!
The center measures 6″ x 7 1/5″ x 15″ (small enough to store anywhere…but large enough to hold hundreds of supplies) and has 20 clear-view drawers. Each drawer is full of different supplies like glitter glue (which is my daughters favorite), beads, fuzzy pom-poms, colored wiggly eyes, sparkly pipe cleaners & so much more! If you are at a loss in what fun activities you can do with all of these supplies, don’t worry…it includes an activity book with 14 fun projects.
Kira didn’t need to be told what to do with the activity center. She immediately had a blast. I gave her two Ellison Die Cut outs (Christmas tree and dog), and she proceeded to decorate the two as “ornaments” for our tree. The glitter glue was definitely her favorite. It’s super easy to use and create different designs on her tree and dog. Next she grabbed a pipe cleaner and made a leash for the dog.
Oh the possibilities!
My thought for the center in my classroom is to use it during small group art products. I can easily fill each drawer with the items needed for the activity (though I won’t be using it like that until I have used up all the cool supplies already in it).
Like it? Why not buy it for someone you know what loves arts & crafts! Head over to Lakeshore today!
