Happy Holidays! Christmas is just 3 days away… and I am sure there are already cookies baking, pies cooking, and other desserts filling your house! Tis’ the Season! The one thing my husband noticed about my journey on Nutrisystem is that I have been able to maintain during the holidays. Instead of gaining 5 lbs when I visit my parents (and yes, that has happened in the past), I know I will be able to keep control and not overindulge. I’m not saying that I won’t eat the delicious pralines my sister made (because I already ate 2)…. but I will just make sure I walk each day and choose healthy snacks. Plus at meal times, if I am not eating a Nutrisystem meal, I will portion out my food and not over eat. Just the other day we had a picnic at the park (the amazing PIRATE park at the Rose Bowl), and I made sure to bring my packet of Nutrisystem chicken salad and made myself a sandwich.

Traveling this holiday? Don’t forget to throw a few of the Nutrisystem bars into your bag! I have one breakfast bar and one lunch bar in my purse at all times! You never know when you will need a tasty treat on-the-go.
