This is an amazing professional dryer with far infrared heat and nano silver anti-bacterial technology. Now, I am not that knowledgeable in regards to hair care technology lingo… so bare with me as I try to put this into layman’s terms. Infrared heat is considered to be much gentler than conventional heat. It dries the hair evenly by penetrating the hair (not just focusing on the outer layer or overheating the hair). Because of the even spread of the heat, the hair dries more quickly and remains softer and healthier. Nano silver anti-bacterial particles are a powerful bactericide and fungicide intended to prevent damaging elements to hair. The nano silver anti-bacterial particles have been infused into the casing and grid of this hairdryer. So think about the last time you dried your hair… did it feel brittle after long term use? I know mine gets dried out if I don’t use a conditioner or some sort of product along with my hair dryer. With this dryer, you don’t need to worry about adding additional moisturizers to your hair prior to drying.
I love that fact that this dryer has 2 speeds & 3 temperatures. I never understood why a dryer had a cold air button until my fantastic hairdresser explained to me that the cold air actually sets the hair. Oh… got it! I use the cold air button on the front of my hair so it lays smoothly. When I do that, then I don’t need to use a flat iron. Now, because I am used to my older hair dryer it seemed like this dryer took longer to dry my hair. That might be due to the thickness of my hair. I have tons of hair (you should see the floor after my hair cut). It also may be due to the fact that I am not used to this dryer. Every dryer is different and takes time to adjust to how to use it properly. I do love the dryer… and will continue to use it daily. Thanks Folica!
