As a first grade teacher, I am always working with my students on their fluency and ability to see & say words by sight. I have found that if you practice sight words on a daily basis, your students become better readers.
Here is a list of the First 100 Fry Frequency Words that you can print off as a master list.
To make things even easier, I have made flash cards for you to use in your classroom. This freebie includes all of the Fry first 100 sight words. They are printed in a very thick, clear, and simple font to ensure that your students are able to read them with no problems! Just print on card stock, laminate, and cut. You can even punch a hole in the corner and put these on a ring.
You can also use these flash cards on your word wall!!! Or print out two sets and create a matching game.
Disclosure: I used KG Blank Space and KG Makes You Stronger fonts. I have a license to use these fonts for commercial use. You can download these fonts off TeachersPayTeachers.com at Kimberly Geswein’s store for free to use for personal use only or buy a license to use for commercial use.
