Eddie the Eagle: #EddieBingo Family Night
The 80’s were a simpler time. Families would gather around the dinner table for a family game night and didn’t have to worry about an annoying text ruining the fun. Well, it’s time to turn off the tech and travel back in time. Thanks to Fox Home Entertainment, I received Bingo Cards, 2 funny t-shirts, Sweater Mugs, Hot Cocoa and Chocolate Nuggets to host my very own #EddieBingo Family Night.
Kira helped me personalize the Mum and Dad t-shirts. I was given two sets of Iron-On Letters…which was perfect! It allowed me to write Logan and Kira on both shirts.
In just a few minutes I had matching t-shirt for my husband and myself. You know you are jealous! What parent wouldn’t be proud of their children?!?!
Yes, we proudly sported these 80’s t-shirts as we played a few rounds of Bingo. My kids love playing games. They truly enjoyed taking time off from watching TV to spend playing together as a family around the dinner table. Sometimes you need to unplug. Choose a night to turn off the TV, leave the computers off, and put your cell phone on silent. Spend some quality time with your family and play a game…any game.
Are you ready to watch a feel-good story inspired by true events? I am a sucker for movies based on true stories. I don’t know why, but to me they hit me straight in the heart. Taron Egerton co-stars alongside ACADEMY AWARD® Nominee Hugh Jackman in Eddie the Eagle.
Egerton plays Eddie The Eagle Edwards, an unlikely but courageous British ski-jumper who never stopped believing in himself even as an entire nation was counting him out. Eddie had a dream to go to the Olympics. No matter what anyone said, he NEVER gave up on his dream. When he was told he couldn’t compete in one event, he found a different event. Even though he had never jumped before, it didn’t stop him. He was going to the 1988 Olympics…but he needed a little extra help.
With the help of a rebellious and charismatic coach (Jackman), the lovable underdog wins the hearts of fans around the world by making an unforgettable showing at the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics.
