My son wanted cinnamon buns for breakfast, but we didn’t have any pre-made. So what does mommy do? Fake a recipe and make cinnamon bun bread! Luckily I had all the ingredients I needed to whip up this easy recipe.
You will need:
- biscuit dough (Pillsbury is my favorite)
- brown sugar
- granulated sugar
Pre-heat your oven to 375 degrees. I grabbed a container of biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into 6 pieces.
Then, I added 1/3 cup of brown sugar (packed) and 2/3 cup of granulated sugar.
Next, I added 1 tablespoon of cinnamon and approximately 2 tablespoons of melted butter.
I mixed the ingredients with a spoon until the dough was completely covered. I transferred the ingredients into a glass pie pan. Then I baked the “bread” for 11-15 minutes. Logan was so happy when he smelled cinnamon!!! He couldn’t wait to test out my newest creation.
I allowed the cinnamon bun bread time to cool, then we scooped some into a bowl and devoured the bread!!!! Super yummy…and super easy to make!
