I love being a Coppertone Water Mom!
This summer I received my Coppertone Water Moms 2013 “Great American Summer” kit. This kit included:
- Coppertone product for my family (and of course I shared with my friends)
- Coppertone beach towel
- “Making the Sunscreen Grade” brochure (to pass out to family & friends…includes a coupon)
- Themed recipes, games, and activities to make the summer fun
When my kit arrived, I knew I was going to have to share the “wealth” with my family and friends. I set aside the two Water Babies Sunscreen packages and the four sunscreen sticks to keep for my parents and my family. The six remaining Coppertone Ultra Guard SPF 50 bottles were perfect presents for my friends!
What better way to start off the summer but a play date at the park!
It was a little cloudy, but as a Coppertone Water Mom I knew that we all still needed sunscreen! Did you know that 80% of the sun’s rays can penetrate clouds on an overcast day? So, make sure to always protect your skin when going outside (even if there are clouds in the sky).
I’ve said it before, and I will say it again…my children have extremely fair skin. They need to have sunscreen on at all times or sun protective clothing. Thanks to Coppertone, my kids will be safe all summer long!
Coppertone products are not only a brand name I can trust… they are a brand that I have used for years. Coppertone products protect skin from the most damaging UVA/UVB rays! Did you know that UV rays are present year-round? They tend to be the strongest during the late spring and early summer.
To help protect kids from UV rays throughout the day it is recommended to reapply sunscreen every two hours. More often if you are swimming or sweating.
Coppertone products are non-greasy… and the ones I received are water resistant (80 minutes). The Water Babies Pure & Simple is a very thick formula. It coats on a white layer of sunscreen, so you know where you need to apply. If you are not a fan of thick sunscreen, then try the spray. We love all of the Coppertone products…but I have to admit I will buy the spray and stick over the lotion. With wiggly kids it is just easier to apply a spray and allow them to use the stick on their face.
Some of my mommy friends were not able to attend our play date, so I hand delivered the sunscreen to them.
How are you going to protect your kids skin this summer? Share with me your favorite sunscreen products or sun protective clothing. I’d love to hear what you use and recommend.
