Introducing the first-ever VeggieTales Live! DVD based on their successful touring stage show! VeggieTales Live! Sing Yourself Silly showcases 18 of the most classic and popular VeggieTales songs performed live on stage including “His Cheeseburger,” “Love My Lips!,” “The Hairbrush Song,” plus a few hits from the 80’s that both parents and kids will enjoy. There are also several fun and family-friendly bonus features included such as a peek behind the curtain on “Larry’s Backstage Pass.”
This new DVD was released June 7th. To be honest, my family has never seen VeggieTales. I was please to see how kid-friendly this DVD was and fun for the kids to watch and dance to (of course my kids decided to play around when they saw a camera in my hand). The songs are catchy and enjoyable to listen to…reminding me of some of my favorite oldies (sad when the 80’s are considered oldies). My son’s favorite was the Pirate song…big surprise. Please note that VeggieTales is a Christian based, so if you are not religious you may not enjoy this DVD (it’s not over powering…but God is mentioned).
