Do you need deodorant or anti-perspirant? A deodorant is any kind of fragrance used to cover up or deodorize one odor with another. A true anti-perspirant, as its name implies, should – like Certain Dri – shrink and close off underarm pores to inhibit the flow of perspiration.
During the summer time I NEED a good anti-perspirant. Certain Dri is NOT a deodorant, it’s formula is clinical strength and this amazing anti-perspirant helps stop excessive perspiration for 72 hours! HELLO… just in time for the summer heat! I’ll beat the heat with Certain Dri.
Certain Dri Solid contains Aluminum Sesquichlorohydate. This active ingredient is clinically tested to show extended protection. Plus this is safe on sensitive skin.
How to Use:
- Apply Certain Dri to underarms at bedtime. (YES bedtime! That’s what surprised me. I am used to applying deodorant and/or anti-perpirant in the mornings after my shower. Certain Dri cautions users to NOT use immediately after shaving or showering. Plus you need to let Certain Dri completely dry before getting dressed. Certain Dri can discolor clothing if not completely dry.)
- Apply sparingly. (A little goes a long way. 4 to 6 strokes under each arm should be sufficient.)
- You may not need to used Certain Dri every day! (Depending on how severe your perspiration may be will determine how often you will need Certain Dri. During the summer months I tend to sweat more, so I am going to start with every other day and adjust my treatment accordingly.)
So what should you do in the mornings? Certain Dri has a specially formulated Certain Dri AM which is recommended for morning and daytime use. I don’t have Certain Dri AM (yet). As a creature of habit I will want to purchase Certain Dri AM to apply daily. Though with the use of Certain Dri Solid, my underarm perspiration will slowly be eliminated… thus causing less dampness and odor-producing bacteria.
