When I heard that I was going on another Disney press trip, I knew I would need more luggage. Thank goodness for American Tourister! They allowed me to travel to Los Angeles in style with new Duralite luggage.
When my two new pieces of American Tourister luggage arrived, Kira was hoping they were for her. She loved the color and had to take a photo with them. She is just the right size to squeeze into the 24″ one… maybe on my next press trip I can sneak her in! Though I am sure there are rules about checking your luggage with children inside.
Okay, let’s be serious. These suitcases are beyond amazing. First things first… you can store these suitcases inside each other! I was able to put the 20″ inside of the 24″ easily. This is great for two reasons, #1 less luggage to store and #2 if you are going on a trip and want to bring an extra suitcase for swag, gifts, etc. you will have your bag ready to go!
I could have easily fit all of my clothing and extras into the 24″, but since American Airlines allowed one free carry-on I decided to take both (and good thing too because I had a lot of swag and goodies to bring home from my Cinderella Event). I put my dress, shoes, and clutch that I was planning to wear at the red carpet premiere in the 20″ and everything else went into the 24″. My thought was if something should have happened to my luggage, then I would at least have my dress!
The 20″ is designed to fit in most airlines overhead compartments; however, depending on the plane/airline they may ask you to taxi the smaller bag. I asked why and they told me it’s due to the wheels. I’m sure my luggage would fit, but I didn’t mind not having to walk down the tiny aisle with the suitcase.
I do have to say I did look fashionable with my new luggage and Maggie Bags purse!
The four, multi-directional spinner wheels made navigating the airport a breeze! I linked the two suitcases together with my purse and pushed them through the airport quickly. Since they are constructed of 100% Polypropylene… they were lightweight, yet durable (impact resistant). I wasn’t worried about checking my luggage. I knew everything would be safe inside.
Finding my luggage at the baggage claim was a piece of cake! Unlike the ugly black suitcases on the belt, I was able to spot mine quickly. The Seaport Blue was pleasing to the eye as it rolled onto the belt.
American Tourister tests its products, fully loaded, in real-world conditions for durability, strength, and dependability. They do a wheel test, drop test, tumble test, handle test, and zipper test! PLUS they back their product with a 10 year warranty!

Duralite is even tougher than it looks, if that’s possible.
