When I drive down the hill to do my Costco and Winco run in Fresno, I am purchasing food and supplies for the entire month (I live in the mountains…an hour away from Fresno). Yesterday while at Winco, I had a shopping cart full of groceries. I got in line and waited patiently to unload my cart onto the belt. While waiting, a women got in line behind me. She only had 5 items. I know how long it takes to check out when I am shopping, so I turned and told her to go in front of me. She was very grateful and said “Thank you.” This is such a simple way to be kind to others.
